Reference Documents

Reference Documents are the files and web pages CopyLoop uses to build Brand Voice and provide context during generation. This page covers each way to add and manage them.

Upload files

1. Open Brand → Reference Documents.
2. Select the upload area, or drag files onto it.
3. Choose one or more PDF, DOCX, TXT, or MD files. Each file can be up to 50 MB.
4. Wait for each document to finish processing.

A spinner means CopyLoop is still processing the document. A green check means it is ready, and a red alert means processing failed. Only documents with a green check are included in Brand Voice analysis.

Import pages from a website

1. Open Brand → Reference Documents and choose Import from Website.
2. Enter the website address and let CopyLoop find its pages.
3. Select the pages you want to import.
4. Start the import, then return to Reference Documents to follow processing.

Pages already imported are marked in the results so you can leave them out of a later import.

Import from Google Drive

Choose Import from Google Drive, connect the Google account if prompted, and select the files. Imported files appear in the same document list as uploads.

An email-ingest option also appears on Reference Documents when it is available for the brand and plan. Follow the address and usage information shown in that panel.

Preview or manage a document

Select a document with a green check to preview the text CopyLoop extracted. Its row also provides actions to edit the details, download the original, or delete it.

If processing fails, choose Retry on that document. If the retry fails too, check that the file uses a supported format and is below the size limit, then upload it again.

Deleting a document removes it from the brand’s document collection. Select several documents first if you want to delete them together.

See the result in Brand Voice

Open Brand → Brand Voice after at least one document shows a green check. CopyLoop updates the profile from the documents it has finished processing. Channel tabs show their document count; a channel uses the default voice until it has three documents of its own.
